More Progress On The House

The siding is up and the inside is dry-walled.  I can't believe how quickly this house is going up.  We are very excited and it truly has been a lot of fun working on this house.  I have been picturing every room in my head for a long time and now it is all coming together.
Here are some pictures from two weeks ago
How fun is this playroom going to be?  You may find me hiding in there a lot.....
These pictures are from the last week.  We are getting ready to pick the outside paint color!

The Rest Of Our Christmas Activities

I decided it would be fun to make some footprint art with the entire family.  I had to make a special trip to the store to get some poster board, because Scott's foot did not fit on regular construction paper :).
I think our snowman family turned out really cute
We also went to the Bentonville Christmas parade.  This was my first christmas parade!  The Bentonville Square was packed and it was nice to see so many people come out to support the event.
Hannah did not like the loud noises of the firetruck and police car, but enjoyed the candy very much!
We also had some friends over to decorate and eat some sugar cookies to get into the christmas spirit
Hannah's Mother's Day Out program put on a Christmas Musical.  I love that she already gets to participate in events like that.  It was a lot of fun to watch all the little kids get up on stage.  Some happier than others :).  Hannah's class celebrated baby Jesus' birthday by having balloons and wearing party hats.

Hannah really just wanted to play with the balloon
Hannah did not want her balloon tied to her hand.  She did a good job holding on to it the entire time.  After the "performance" she gave the balloon to Scott for a minute and he accidentally let go of it and lost it.....Hannah was not happy, but thankfully her teacher had an extra balloon.
Right before daddy lost it
Look at that sad face
Now on to a few random pictures and stories
Hannah helping to bake
Hannah wanted her picture taken, which does not happen very often (unless she is being silly)
Painting a piece of art
Hannahh is fixing Scott's hair.  She says she has to make it pretty and then when she is done she says that he is ready to go to school.

I went through the Starbucks drive-thru this morning and when I got to the window the girl told me that the lady in front of me paid it forward.  It was such a nice feeling, so I decided to pay it forward too.  So, my "free" drink actually cost me more. Ha!  It was worth it though that I (hopefully) made somebodies day better.  I know it made my day better!
