Soccer Cutie

Hannah started soccer a few weeks ago.  I was really excited about it and thought she would really like it (she is German afterall), but so far she is not a big fan.  She will participate for a while and then she wants to just sit on the ball or roll down a small hill next to the soccer field.  We are not ready to give up, but I sure hope she will like it a little more soon.  When she actually particiaptes she does a great job. Oh well, at least she looks cute out there. Ha!

On the way to the first soccer game
She looks pretty good in her German soccer jersey
Practice is twice a week and it is almost an hour long, which is quite a bit for a three year old.  Maybe we will only go once a week and see if she likes it better.

Baby Bump

The baby bump is here!
We found out during our week 20 ultrasound that we are hvaing a boy.  We are so excited!  I started to clean out the room that is going to be the nursery and went through all of Hannah's old stuff.  I got really sentimental, because she is already so big and because we can't use all her cute stuff again.  But them I was reminded that I will get to do some shopping again for baby brother and that made it all better :)

Everything looked great on the ultrasound and baby boy was measuring 3 days ahead of schedule!  I am still not feeling good, but I have had a few better days and I am thankful for that.  I am still hoping that I will turn the corner soon.

Here is the week 22 picture.  I waited to take it today, because I had a hair appointment this morning. Ha!  I haven't done my hair since I started feeling sick, so this may be the only picture you will see with my hair done for a long time!

Swim Lessons

Our wonderful friend Danae offered to do swim lessons for Hannah, Simon, Oliver and her son Dax this summer.  We started them back in May and went three times a week for four weeks, then took a month off and went again two times a week for another four weeks.  I can't believe the difference!  Hannah has always loved the water, but she is a little fish now.  She has no fear, which can be a little scarry.  She spends 90% of her time in the pool under water.  I have never seen her panic, but trust me there have been a few moments where I start to panic when she just goes under to dive for her rings.  The deeper the better for her.  Danae did these cute certificates after the first 4 weeks of swim lessons.

And after all that hard work they deserved a popsicle......
Here are a couple of videos of Hannah swimming a few weeks ago. I am so proud of her!

Germany trip

This is going to be a lot of pictures from the rest of our trip to Germany.  This trip was over 2 months ago and I finally want to get all the pictures on here.  My mom has already been back over here to visit since we have been to Germany.  I am so far behind, but I am still not feeling much better, so the computer is not my friend :)  Next up will be some baby bump pictures.

Hannah and Oma pretending to take a nap on the floor.  For some reason she always wanted to lay down on the floor....she loves to pretend to take a nap, but never does.

On one of the rainy days (I know its hard to believe that it rains in Germany) we took Hannah to a huge indoor playground.  I am not sure who had more fun....

This thing was harder to climb than it looks....
Almost to the top...
There was a lot more cool stuff at this place, but apparently I put the camera away and participated in the fun.

Scott and I went out one night to watch a soccer game and Hannah and Oma had a tea party.  Hannah decided that she needed to wear a nice dress for the tea party.  The below dress was made by one of my moms friends.  It is so precious!
Well, then she decided that Oma needed to wear a dress too and of course she changed!

Well, I realized that I have too many Germany pictures left to do it in one post (plus for some reason it is taking forever to upload each picture to blogger).

See you next time (hope fully sooner).
