The Clubine's Do London

We left on December 16th for our trip to London and then Germany. The kids did great on the long flight over and slept.  Hallelujah!  We got to the hotel and rested up for a few hours before meeting up with aunt Ashley and hitting the city for a bit.  It takes a long time to get anywhere when you are walking with three kids in tow.

First family picture with Big Ben in the background
And one with aunt Ashley
We walked over to Leicester Square to check out the Christmas market and the Lego store.  The line to get into the Lego store was so long, so we decided to skip it and go into the M&M store instead.  I knew the weekend before Christmas would be busy, but it was even more crowded than I expected.
We did get a picture of the Lego Big Ben in the window…..and the line of people trying to get into the store.

The Christmas market was really cute.

After hanging out for a bit we started our trek back to get close to the hotel before finding a place for dinner.
We found a Pub next to the hotel and had a nice dinner.
We went back to the hotel to clean up and get some rest.  The kids actually slept pretty good that night. In my opinion night 3 is the worst as far as jet lag goes.

We slept in the next morning and met up with Ashley again to make the walk to Hyde Park to Winter Wonderland.
We walked by Buckingham Palace.
Look this was Nora's first time to London 1 1/2 years ago……also in front of Buckingham Palace.

We had one stroller and we still ended up doing a lot of carrying kids……we walked almost 7 miles that day and Hannah did great, but we carried the little ones quite a bit
The kids rode a few rides at Winter Wonderland and then we went into the German tent "Wilde Hilde" to warm up and get some food
After Winter Wonderland we headed back to the hotel to rest up for a little bit.  We took a bus for part of the way, which was a highlight for the kids.
We ventured out to South Bank for a bit for the evening, but then decided to get back closer to the hotel again before getting some dinner.
The next day we tried to go ice skating at the Somerset house, but they were booked up for several days.  Hannah was a little disappointed, but we promised her she can go ice skating in Germany.
This phone booth had a line to get into just for people to take a picture……
We rode the Underground to Ashley's flat to visit for a while.
We love exploring cities even with three little kids.  You don't get to do as much, but it's still a lot of fun to show the kids some new places.
We left early the next morning to head to Cologne.
