A Vacation Birthday

Our biggest turned 10 years old while on vacation in Florida!  So crazy to think Hannah has hit double digits.
She looks so grown up......more and more like a teenager. And lots of days she acts like one too.

She had her party the weekend before we left on vacation.   She invited some friends from her class to go to the movies, a little shopping and dinner and ice cream.  It was a great group of girls and we had a wonderful afternoon.
We went to the movies to see Aladdin followed by a little shopping trip to Target.

Each girl had a certain amount they were able to spend and it was quite interesting to watch them roam the store. Ha!   Decision making is not their strong point :). It was also very interesting to me to see their different personalities unfold during a little shopping.
They were all happy afterwards with their purchases......we had a little bit of everything.....clothes, candy, dog treats, beach bags.

Hannah's dinner choice was Qdoba (Scott, Evan and Nora joined us for this part)

Then followed by frozen yoghurt

On her actual birthday Hannah had a little birthday table set up at the condo on the beach.  She was still hoping for a miracle in that she would get a phone.  I think she was a little disappointed, but got over it quickly.

We celebrated with donuts for breakfast and a Pirate Cruise and ice cream later in the day.

The entire crew ready to board the Pirate Cruise.
This picture is a classic.....look at Nora's face.

These are the cutest pirate faces I know.....

Water gun fight and story time......the kids were all entertained for the entire time. Oh and they have free beer and wine on the cruise, so it was a win/win for everybody.

Face paint is always a hit

Fun was had by all

A little Limbo.....

.....then Evan decided to jump over it

A little indoor break for some ice cream......

We ended the day with a little beach time.

I have lots more vacation pictures to share.
