Happy Place

This is my Happy Place......How could it not be?

We spent one glorious week in Madeira Beach and we had so much fun. It was amazing to wake up to this view every morning.  I was able to watch dolphins play on my morning runs, it just doesn't get better than that.

The entire family went parasailing.  Nora was supposed to be 5 to be able to do it, but since she is so tall they let her go up.
Nora and I went first......she was not scared at all. We saw a giant sea turtle from above, which was very cool.
Next up the rest of the crew
Dinner by the water.  I succeeded again and had seafood for every dinner.
We had perfect weather and it didn't even rain once the entire time we were there.  Lots of spectacular sunsets.

The Rivard's joined us for most of the week and we had a blast together........this is the only group picture I have, but it is worth sharing it again.
We did get couple more shots of all the kids
The kids loved playing on the beach at sunset time
Lots of running around and jumping into holes they dug earlier in the day
One morning Scott, Matt and Hannah went deep-sea fishing......they caught a giant Barracuda
Meanwhile the rest of the group went to play Minigolf and we did a little shopping.
Too bad none of these kids have any personality.....
It was hot out and you can see it in their red little faces
Our tour guides had to get a map
Hannah was a big help all week with all the younger kids.
She baked a cake with them one afternoon
We also did a little dolphin watching and shelling cruise.....
See the dolphins in the background......we watched an entire family play.
We stopped on Shell Key and got off to look for shells for a while.  We brought back probably 50 lbs of shells.....
We made lots of memories as a family
Our dinner view on our last night
