Wow, 2 Blog posts in the same week. That does not happen very often.
The kids always love it when we do a "Book Day". I got the ideas from Momfessionals Blog several years ago. This time around we did "Aliens Love Underpants" and this was our schedule for the day....
Once again you can see that our kids hardly get dressed anymore during this pandemic.....
Making our own aliens....we got out all of the craft supplies we own
We tried to make them as tall as us......
Moving on to painting and decorating underpants.....
....and then hanging them on a clothes line across our driveway
We did some Alien Math worksheets.....
Next up was making our own play doh. I can't believe how easy it is.....
We made Alien snacks and anything was fair game. The kids made their own snack creations.
Then we started creating Aliens with the play doh and other craft supplies....
It was another successful Book Day and kept us busy for the entire day.
The kids have been doing some photo shoots.....
Evan has some pretty good photography skills
We did a family baking challenge. It was Hannah and Scott against Nora and myself......Evan was the Judge. The fact that Evan was the Judge was not known until we had already decided what we were going to bake (he was originally going to participate in the challenge). If I would have known that I would have just given him a bowl of ice cream and call it a day:). Haha.
Hannah and Scott made Chocolate Peanut Butter cookies and served them with ice cream.....
Nora and I made a copycat Nothing Bundt Cake Lemon cake....
Evan chose the Chocolate Peanut Butter cookies as the winner, which really upset Nora. She thought ours was way better. She still brings this up sometimes.......
Since the kids did such a fun Home Hotel stay for us for our anniversary I decided to make a Hotel day for them as well......

Going through all these pictures I am realizing that Evan hasn't gotten dressed in months.....
