Club Med - Punta Cana

We had so much fun at Club Med in the Dominican Republic.  It was the perfect resort for our family.  There were activities all day long.  We tried a lot of different things......sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, bocce ball, sand volleyball, soccer, archery, trapeze, water polo..... it was an active vacation!

The Trapeze was definitely a favorite!

We spent the 4th of July on the beach and had a great day.  They had fireworks on the water in the evenings and it was a really fun show.

We enjoyed all of the outdoor dining......fresh croissants every morning for breakfast.  We thought the food was very good at Club Med.  Lots of fresh food and a lot of variety.

We went on an adventure day outside of the resort and had so much fun!
Zip lines and cave swimming.....

What a great adventure......everything was so green and beautiful

We kept putting our phones into the locker, so that we don't lose them or get them wet and then we realized that we should have brought them for pictures.  We were down in this cave and didn't have our phones.  One of the employees offered to take a few pictures of us and then email them to us.....it was such a nice offer!
Then he told Scott to hold me like we just got married and this is what we got......
the picture cracks me up!
Swimming in ice cold water inside a cave was a big highlight.

We also hiked to another cave/swimming hole and got to jump in from a cliff, but we have no pictures of that.

More zip lines.....this time it was a hammock zip line over water.

The swing on the beach was a favorite spot.

This view never gets old.

The Palm tree was another favorite spot......Evan is quite the climber.  Evan had this other dad cheer him on and the dad thought Evan could go Evan higher.  He was impressed with Evan's climbing skills.  Then his sons started climbing the tree and his wife came running over right away and told her sons not to do that.  It was pretty funny!

The Club Med resort is huge and you have to do quite a bit of walking to get to places (on the reviews that was the biggest complaint. Ha).  We did not mind at all when you have these views.

Club Med is known for their kids clubs.  They have all day entertainment for the kids and it is broken up my age group.  Hannah made a few friends that she hung out with and went to dinner with.  It was fun for her to be more independent and just do her own thing.  One of her friends was from Israel, one from Puerto Rico and the other loved in Brussels.  I told her that vacation friends area so special.
The younger two went to the kids club a few times, but most of the kids there only spoke French, so it was a little more challenging for them.

I still have more pictures from our trip, so I will wrap it up next time.
