15 Year Anniversary trip

Back in August Scott and I went on our 15 year anniversary trip!!!! Our anniversary is in April, but we knew summer would be busy, so August it was.  We left a few days after school started and spent 5 nights in the Bahamas.  It was a much needed break after a crazy busy summer.  It was so nice to just relax.....as much relaxing as we are capable of doing.  Both of us are not exactly the type that can just sit on the beach all day.  But we did manage to actually read a book on this trip.

When we travel with the kids I always bring a book and I never even read 1 page on the entire trip.

This was our first Sandals experience.

We did arrive in style:)

I said countless times on this trip that I can't get over the turquoise color of the water......

We had two really rainy trips over the summer.....Cancun during a hurricane and Colorado was also very  rainy.  When we first got to the resort it started to rain......we sent a picture to the kids and they thought it was funny.
Thankfully we had fantastic weather the entire trip.

This was our dinner spot on the first night....

I will probably repeat myself a lot, but look at the color of the water.  The water was also very warm, which we both liked.

This Sandals resort has a private island that you can reach by Ferry from the resort.  We went top the island multiple days.

It was nice and quiet on the island, but they also have a pool, bar and restaurant...

The evenings on the beach are my favorite.....we always end up staying on the beach way too long and then have to rush to get to our dinner reservations....

We took the snorkeling boat out a couple of times.  It was a great snorkeling spot.

Back to the island for the afternoon....

This weather station was funny......

We asked somebody to take a jumping picture of us.....it has become a tradition for us.
Here is what we got:)
One more picture on the beach.

Of course we missed the kids a lot and kept asking the grandparents for updates and pictures, I am sure they were getting tired of us asking.....they had a full weekend of sports while we were gone.
