It's been a really busy Fall around here. Between Football, soccer, dance and now basketball we have been shuffling kids around all the time. We do love watching them participate in sports, seeing the smile on their faces and becoming a part of a team. While most of the weekends are pretty packed, we all agree that we also enjoy them. When physically possible we also all like to go to all of the sports together, but there are also times where we have to divide and conquer.
Football season has been over, but I still have some pictures I want to document. Evan loves tackle football.
This game was the highlight of his season. He played Quarterback for the first time and played against some of his buddies from school....
And he got to wear the chain after the game (I think it was for an interception, but am not 100% sure anymore)
And the biggest surprise for him.....his awesome 2nd grade teacher (he is now in 4th grade) came to cheer on these boys! It was so special.
We definitely had quite a few conflicts with soccer season, which was a little tough.
Both Evan and Nora started their 3rd season with Sporting Arkansas. It has been really fun to watch them grow in this sport and love it.
We started the season with a tournament in Kansas City.
Nora's team
Evan's team
The outdoor season is almost over.....tomorrow is the last game, but we already started indoor last week.
Last weekend Coach asked Nora if she wants to help out with another team and play a second game and her response was "I would never pass up the opportunity to play more soccer"
Nora got her airplane goal celebration from her brother.....I love to see it!
A couple of weeks ago we played in another tournament....Nora's team has been playing up a year and some of the tournament games have been a little hard, but these girls have grown so much and are a tough little group. Overall they have done amazing throughout their regular season and are currently still undefeated.
Evan's team won the Championship
They went into overtime to win it, so the celebration after the winning goal was a big pile up
This girl goes straight from the soccer fields to dancing in a heartbeat. She is constantly dancing and choreographing new dances....
Hannah still really enjoys her school dance team
Hannah did get a concussion a few weeks ago while warming up her headspring for Hip Hop. I was actually at the soccer fields when I go the text. It was not the text I expected to get from my dancer....but they do a lot of tricks and gymnastics move, so the risk is definitely there. She is fully recovered now and slowly starting to get back into dancing
