This And That

Just doing a quick this and that update before moving into our Italy trip recap.

Getting dressed up and seeing friends does not happen nearly enough.....but it is so much fun when we do get together.  We went to the Cobblestone Harvest party and enjoyed hanging out with everybody for a good cause:)

We did a quick trip to Mexico over Fall break and I only took a handful of pictures during the entire 5 days we were there.....

The water obstacle course was a lot of fun.

Here I am racing Evan....I am pretty sure he was trying to hold me back

This picture is the photo finish and when we zoomed in it does show that Evan hit the water first.  I for sure thought it was a tie!

I can't even remember what pool challenge this was, but Evan won it!

Then at night he got to go up on stage for his big win.  He won a T-Shirt. Woohoo.  We have been to the Palace resorts so many times and somebody always wins some type of challenge, so we have quite the collection of Palace Resort shirts, hat etc

On the last day Nora got her hair braided.  It turned out great.

Hannah would have done a few braids as well, but she had dance competition a few days after our return and can't have braided hair for that.

This was at the last Junior High football game of the season and Hannah's last time performing as a Lincoln Leopard.  We were freezing.

Nothing better than concession stand food for dinner:)

I completed my 250th camp of the year at Burn Boot Camp on Halloween....we had decided to dress up as 80's theme.
Halloween class party with this little girl.

Dad came to help as well

We both helped at Evan's party as well, but I don't have a single picture.

Trick or treating was a big success again this year.....

The candy trading at the end is the best.  They look forward to it the entire night.  And then when they are done negotiating and trading we dump it all into one big bucket :)

Evan and Nora's soccer teams both got the Fifa World Cup sticker books.  This brought back so many memories for me.  We always had them as kids as well.
Evan was sending a picture of a card to friend for trading purposes.....
Eventually Evan and Nora started to combine their sticker, because it is really challenging to fill an entire book.  We bought A LOT of sticker packs!
They brought their books to Italy as well and we were also on a hunt to find more stickers in Italy.  Since Italy didn't make this World Cup it was a little bit more challenging to find stickers.

Evan is on Student Council this year and is loving it.
The school did a cereal box drive to collect cereal boxes for the Food pantry.  Once all the boxes were collected they set up a domino in the Hallway and all students got to watch the domino....I was able to help Evan and the other student council members to set it up.
We also have a big 8 year old in the house now!

Hard to believe that she is 8 already.  She is still our little ray of sunshine.  She is almost always in a great mood and likes to make others feel good.  She always watches out for her friends and is not afraid to stand up for herself and others.  Having Evan as a big brother has served her well, she has had to learn early on to stand up for herself.  Evan is her best friend!  Those two will play together all day long.  Of course Evan knows how to get under her skin, but overall they have the sweetest relationship.

We created our Winter "bucket list".  We always like having a list up on our white board.

Then it was time to pack out suitcases for our Thanksgiving break trip!
