Catching up.....it's been a long time!

The last time I posted was at the end of 2022 and now we are half way though February.  I guess that means we have been busy.  This week was a rare "in-between" week as basketball was over last weekend and soccer doesn't start until next week.  It was nice to have a few evenings free.

Speaking of basketball.....Evan had a fantastic basketball season!  He has been working really hard with Scott on his skills.  You can find him outside shooting and dribbling in every weather condition!  I love to see his determination

Now I need to backtrack way back to before Christmas.  I know, I know that is a long time ago....
I have to share a couple of our Mr Christmas Shenanigans though.

Mr Christmas (aka our Elf) showed up very early this year on December 1st (he normally doesn't come until closer to mid December.....for good reasons).
He brought donuts and advent calendars

Nora lost a tooth and Mr Christmas and the tooth fairy got into a fight.
This happened a long time ago when Hannah lost a tooth too and it was a favorite for all.

It feels really silly writing about Christmas right now, since we just had Valentine's Day this week, but there are a few memories I want to have documented on the Blog.
Such as my awesome pancake flipping abilities (this was at Evan and Nora's school.....making breakfast for staff)

We celebrated Christmas with our friends.....

.....and we all ordered the same sweatshirt for all the guys without them knowing.  It was fabulous!

Ms Nora got her ears pierced....she didn't even know when the lady did it.  Her quote "Wait, what?  You already did it?"

Evan had basketball games and didn't think he would make it to his indoor soccer game, but he got done in time to go to soccer.....only problem he didn't haver his soccer stuff, so he found a Pinnie jersey, went to lost and found to find shin guards and played in his basketball shoes with two different socks on.

We did our annual Starbucks and Lights drive....

We made Reindeer pancakes and they actually turned out great....Pinterest win!

I only have a few pictures from Christmas morning

On Christmas morning Scott decided to cut Evan's hair.....a few minutes later the girls came down and said "Mom you are not going to like this".
They shaved all of his hair off!
This picture is a few weeks later and it had already grown in a bunch
Nora won the Bobcat award at school....

Hannah started the project of organizing our pantry and then I finished it:). It was a lot of work and Tok several days.
Before

After

It is so much nicer now and was worth it
