Catching Up

It's been a long time since I have updated the Blog.  This is going to be an attempt to catch up a little.  Tomorrow marks two weeks since our last day of school.  We are enjoying summer break a lot and continue to stay busy.  I am currently home alone for a few hours, which I think is the first time since the last day of school!

Hannah finished her Junior High career and will be moving on to High School in August.  This still seems so surreal.

Evan was the first one at school to finish all Tournament of Titles Chapter books.  He was determined to read them all!  He loves to read and is dead to the world when he is reading.....sometimes he also picks the most inopportune times to read, like when we are getting ready to leave the house for school and then when he is supposed to get out of the car at school :)

We finished the dance competition season

Nora looks so much older with her hair straightened!

I completed 500 camps at Burn Boot Camp!

We celebrated Easter.......yes, it has been this long since my last Blog post!

We had our first driveway drink of the season and Casey wore her  Cologne shirt:)

Nora started to write down what she wants to pack for lunch the next morning

The boys were gone for a soccer tournament and we had to stay behind for dance that weekend! So, we went to the square for some ice cream
Evan;'s team won the tournament and we got some great action shots of him!

This one is my favorite!

The girls were happy to support their brother from home.....

This girl was happy to have her best buddy home!

One morning I noticed a couple of big holes when pulling into the garage......the exterminator couldn't come fast enough!  This was above Hannah's room and she had been hearing things up in the attic.

The exterminator sent up cameras and traps.....Hannah moved out of her room for a week into the guest room.
We caught the raccoon on camera and Hannah named her Big Bertha.

Well, after several days of no activity in the attic we patched up the hole and sure enough the next morning another hole was in the same spot, but still didn't catch Big Bertha in the attic.
Then, Scott and Evan took the situation into their own hands and set up another trap in the yard.....two days later we caught a raccoon.  And never heard things in the attic again, so we are assuming it was Big Bertha!

The kids finished testing weeks at school and I surprised them with donuts one morning.

All the field trips were happening at the end of the school year

Scott and I attended their Bash. because Nora was getting an award and we were picked to do a wheel barrow race with Evan and Nora....
