Family Movie Night

Last week we decided to have a family movie night on Friday.  We talked about it to Hannah all week and she was really excited.  This was the first time we sat down as a family to watch a movie.  We rented Tangled, built a fort out of pillows and blankets and made popcorn.

This is her "cheese" face, but still not looking at the camera
We took a little break from the movie to make popcorn.  Hannah was really excited to make "opcorn".  I decided to video Hannah's first popcorn making experience, which turned into a classic home video.  Hannah and Scott were both watching the microwave and "cheering" on the popcorn.  I was busy filming and we did not realize that the popcorn burnt.  Scott opened the microwave and a lot of smoke came out.  The bag would not stop smoking, so we finally had to take it outside.  I have all of this on video and we could not stop laughing.  Good thing we bought two bags!  Second time around we ended up with perfect popcorn.  The house smelled like burnt popcorn for several days.
Hannah was getting a little antsy towards the end of the movie and started to play peekaboo with all the pillows and blankets.  Ithought the movie was  really cute and I  enjoyed watching it.  It was a fun family night!
