Germany Trip

I am so happy that we went to Germany. I was very nervous and hesitant about taking Evan, but in the end he proved that he is "just a normal baby now" and I was able to relax even more.  Evan really struggled with adjusting to the time difference and did not sleep good at all while in Germany.  He woke up every hour for the entire time we were there.  It was exhausting, but he seemed to be getting enough sleep and was a happy boy.
The first few days were pretty cold while we were there, but then it warmed up and we had beautiful weather for the rest of the trip.  I love being at home during the summer time.  There is a lot to do outside and when the weather is nice everybody is outside enjoying it.
We took both kids into the city to visit the Dom cathedral and walk around by the river.
Evan's first time seeing the Dom!
Yes she is wearing my aviators
I love this city and I still get excited to see the cathedral every time
One of the many breweries
Old town is so fun during the summer. Lots of outdoor places to sit, enjoy the view and have a drink or eat
Hannah had at least one scoop of ice cream every day

Back at my parents house Hannah and Evan pretended to take a nap on the floor.  Hannah has always likes to play that game and now she is already teaching her brother to pretend nap.
Then they got Oma to pretend with them

Love these two
We had lots more fun in Germany that I will post about next time.

  2. Thanks for the visit yesterday! Your little ones are absolutely adorable and I'm so jealous of your trip to Europe. It's my goal to make it there one day! You did it with two little ones, so maybe I can do it with one?

    1. Thank you for stopping by. Traveling with little ones can be overwhelming, but it is also a lot of fun. We took our daughter to Germany when she was just 7 weeks old. I am going to have some travel tips up on the blog on Thursday.
