I am just going to catch up again on the Blog today. We have enjoyed some nice Spring days and we are all ready for the nice weather to stay. All the kids pants and socks have holes in them, so it is time for the nicer weather to stick around and switch to summer clothes.
This was our little secret......ice cream in the mornings when the older two were at school. I always tell Nora that she doesn't have to tell the older two what we did in the mornings, but if they ask she has to tell them and can't lie.
On another day we took the entire crew out for ice cream after school.
I am sensing a theme here. Lots of ice cream in the Spring. One more ice cream date after school.
We took Charlotte home with us one morning and had a lot of fun on the Square. Park, riding the truck and running around with the horse reigns.
The tulips are so pretty on the square
Nora took a picture of me
Hannah and Evan brought their school pictures home. They both look so grown up. Time is just flying by.
Hannah joined a theater group in January and their big performance was last weekend. Hannah was super excited about it. The entire show was Broadway Musical. She performed Xanadu. The show entailed theater, dancing and singing, which was perfect for her.
Hannah does not have much confidence in me when it comes to doing hair and make up. She was a little worried that I wouldn't get it right. Ha!
We managed just fine.
This was her for the dress rehearsal
Hannah and Eve together. Eve was performing Matilda.
Nora wanted to be in the picture too
Hannah had to dance with a boy for one of the songs and she was really embarrassed about it. Haha. I hope it stays that way for a long time. She will probably get mad at me for posting this picture.
The big performance day
The Program for the night.
After the show
Hannah had so much fun and keeps asking when the next theater group starts.
This week I took the kids for a bike ride and we made a stop at the creek to have a little picnic snack.
The this happened....
That creek water is cold in the summer, so I can only imagine what that felt like, but of course he didn't care. At least they were still wearing their helmets :)
