We took Bunny pictures a few weeks ago and I love how they turned out. This has been such a fun tradition. I am sure soon enough Hannah won't get as excited about the bunny pictures anymore, but for now she still enjoyed it. It is so fun to look back and see how much they have grown.
Here is a little trip down memory lane......this was Hannah's first bunny pictures
First one with two kids.....
First session with three kids.....
And now this year.....
I ran the Bentonville Half Marathon again last weekend. The weather forecast was not looking good for it and I wasn't sure if I would actually go out to run it. I am so glad I did. Scott was out of town, so Casey graciously helped me out and I dropped off the kids at her house at the crack of dawn. Hannah was not a huge of fan of getting up at 5:45am, but Evan just said "I am glad you woke me up early, now my day is longer". Love his attitude. It was just pouring down rain , cold and windy when we got up and drove over two Casey's house. After dropping off the kids I went home quickly to pick up a shower cap......this was the look I was going with.
By the time I made it down to the square they announced that they were pushing the start time back by 30min due to lightning. Well, that 30min helped a ton and the rain moved out. It was still cold and windy (the temperatures dropped during the race) and drizzling, but at least it wasn't pouring anymore.
I am super happy with my time (especially since I haven't been running much due to some knee issues). The official time is 1:40:41 and my unofficial time from my watch is 1:40:06. My unofficial time would be a PR, but I missed the PR by 23 seconds based on the official time.
Meanwhile the kids were having a good time at Casey's.
Thank you Casey for watching them.
The kids were pretty excited to see the medal.....it is a really cool medal.
Sunday afternoon we decided to play some April fools prank on the kids and messed with their lunch boxes. We had a lot of fun doing it and kept thinking about how the kids will react.
First up, who wants a yummy cake pop. I think they look pretty legit :)
Here is the secret.....haha!
I figured the older two would be suspicious if they had a cake pop in their lunch box, but they still tried it. Nora ate off all the chocolate :)
Next up we filled up mini water bottles with Sprite
Hannah's apple had a worm coming out of it.....
We also filled up their goldfish bags with popcorn and re-sealed them.....that was a fun surprise.
And last but not least we put googly eyes on everything.....googly eyes are always a hit
