Well, we have made it to the last (in person) school day of the year! I didn't think we would make it this far, but we did. All 3 kids have had a great school year and I have found ways to keep me really busy while they are in school.
This week Evan wanted to build an ugly house on Minecraft and then fix it up like Jenny and Dave do on their show Fixer to Fabulous.
This kid is always creating something.
This is his "ugly" house......
Then he started to fix it up.....
He also drew a layout of the house.....
The Elf wanted to play hide and seek......it took the, a while to find him in this corner....
Hannah baked another cake to enter it in a virtual baking challenge......the theme was "Winter Wonderland"
She did such a good job.
We got ready to do our annual Pj's, Starbucks and Christmas Lights and this is how Scott came down and he said he was ready to go.....
It is one of our favorite things to do. Normally we all have to go inside of Starbucks in our PJ's to get a hot drink and then drive around to look at Christmas Lights and listen to Christmas music.
This year we didn't go inside, but did a get a picture in front of Starbucks.
The next day it started to snow......the big snow of 2020!
We haven't had this much snow in 6 years. It was so much fun. We went out and played in it multiple times that day. Bad thing is none of our kids have any snow gear, so after just a little bit of time they were soaking wet and freezing. The kids didn't care about that much, but just looking at them in wet clothes made me so cold.
Of course we made a snowman.....
Later in the day we went sledding into the drainage ditch. Ha!
I remember sledding into that ditch 6 years ago when Nora was only a few weeks old. I had her in the Ergo under my coat and Evan was not even two yet.
The next morning was a virtual learning snow day.....
Even snow days look different in 2020 :)
We made some "snow cones".....a cup of snow and then added some apple juice to it
We probably jinxed it now by buying snow pants and gloves for the kids and won't get anymore snow for another 6 years ......
We have had a few amazing sunrises this week.
Our Star Wars tree was perfect for our Elf.....
Come to the dark side we have cookies.
He was hiding in the tree and brought sugar cookies.....
