Summer Happenings

The kids have been out of school for almost 4 weeks already.  Nora asked me this morning how many more weeks of summer are left and when I told her that she has a little over 7 weeks left she got sad.  She loves school.  So then she wanted to ride her bike by her school.....she wanted to think of all the good memories from school :).

Evan was due for a hair cut and he chose two have a design on one design.....the Chiefs Arrowhead!

Hannah had a birthday sleepover after we got back from Cancun.
We walked down to the square to get a Slice of pizza for dinner.
Evan and Nora had a friend spend the night as well, so we ended up with 8 kids at the house.
That's what summer is all about:)

The kids did an early Saturday morning Lemonade stand and sold out pretty quickly.  They are going to donate money to the Sporting Arkansas Player scholarship fund.  Their plan is to do a few more lemonade stands and then donate the money.

We finally took the boat out for the first time.  Its wasn't the best weather that day, but it still felt so nice to be back on the lake.  We rode up to Starkey Marina to pick up pizza.  It is one of our favorite things to do and pizza on the boat tastes great!

We took a trip up to KC with some other soccer loving friends to watch KC Sporting play...........

Such a sweet moment of these two

ll the kids that play for Sporting Arkansas.....

It was a hot day, but we had a lot of fun at the game.  Too bad KC Sporting did not pull off a win.

Selfie of the entire crew.....

Then it was back to playing soccer.....Evan and Nora are doing a 6 week summer training program.  It is a lot of soccer in very hot weather (Arkansas seemed to have skipped Spring and went right into 100 degree weather).  Both love to play soccer and it is very fun to watch them grow.

Last week Nora's team did a last minute entry into a 3v3 tournament and her team came out as Champions!
It was so hot out!  They ended up playing their last game at 9pm and we had a tired girl after that.....I think she may have even admitted that she was tired, which never happens!

We love watching these girls play.  They have a great team and an amazing coach!  They will be ready for 7v7 in the Fall.

Hannah had 20 hours of dance over 3 days for UDA camp last week.  She was exhausted as well!
