3 weeks in.....

We are 3 weeks into summer break and enjoying every minute of it.  It has still been busy, but in a different way.

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the soccer fields....Evan's team won the tournament!

Nora's team played well, but lost in the semifinal.

Due to a few snow days earlier in the year, the kids had to go back to school the Tuesday after Memorial Day....they tried to make a case for why they don't need to go, but they didn't win that case:)

So, here we go....last day of school pictures.

Hannah actually had a sleepover with a few friends the night before.  She said she has always wanted to have a sleepover on a school night.  It felt so rebellious.
I made them all take last day of school pictures!

Hannah texted me during her lunch break on the last day of school saying she had 4 kids in her English class.

Evan and Nora also had less than half of their classes in attendance.
Evan's teacher shared this picture with us.  The students had to write down one for to describe each other......

Then we celebrated the big 14th birthday for Hannah.  She is now old enough to take the driving permit test.  So crazy.  She has the book to study, but actually hasn't started yet (to my surprise).  I know soon that book will be highlighted, color coded and will have lots of sticky notes in it :)

Evan and Nora couldn't think if anything to get Hannah for her birthday, so they put each into a gift bag.....then into a box and another box and another box. They gave her $35.11

First weekend of break we had recital!  It was so fun to watch all Company dances one last time!

These girls have no fun and no personalities at all:)

We also had the end of year banquet and all cleaned up nicely (I am mainly talking about myself)....

Then I found these gems on my phone......

Evan and Scott left for Arizona for almost an entire week.  Scott had to work down there and he found Evan a basketball day camp at the University of Arizona and signed him up, so they went on a boys trip.    The girls had a few great days together and then half way through that week we dropped Hannah off with grandma, so then it was just me and Nora for a few nights....
I took Nora out for a date and she wanted to try Taco and Tamale....

We have this joke in our family that Hannah always gets a kid cup when we go out to eat.....she complains and laughs about it a lot.  She always gets the plastic cup with a lid and straw.  We all think it is funny.
That night Nora got a real glass and we both just started laughing and had to send this picture to Hannah :)

Hannah got have a little cousin time.....
....and even better baby cousin time

One of the nights that everybody else was gone, Nora asked to have a sleepover with Cameron.  She also asked me to take them to Dave and Buster's, so we did just that.

Their prized possessions from Dave and Buster's......one of those things is a poop slime key chain (don't ask:).  It's amazing what $50 can get you at these places :)

Big bowl of ice cream with toppings before a night swim

Evan and Scott got back Friday afternoon and then jumped right back into a crazy Saturday.  Evan had a basketball tournament (played 4 games) and then straight to 3v3 soccer in the evening.  He had 4 soccer games.....after game 2 you could tell that his legs were so tired.  But he would never admit it or ask to sit out.

Nora's team won the 3v3 tournament.....so much fun to watch

Then her brother decided to photo bomb their pictures.

Last week Evan and Nora went to Climbing camp and Hannah had school dance camp.  So, on Friday after a long week we went out for ice cream!

Great start to summer break and it is already flying by.....
